These instructions are different since Banner has been implemented.

To email your entire class, you need to know your Banner course name, the section number and the semester code.

The format is department (four letters or three letters and a hyphen,) the section number, an underscore and the semester code. For Spring 2006, the semester code is 620. For SPS courses the code is 621 for Spring session one or 622 for Spring session 2.

Here are two examples, one for a four letter department and one for a three letter department:

PST-34061_620@SLU.EDU

NOTE TO FACULTY: If you want to include yourself in an email to a class, you will have to add yourself via a cc in your email client since Banner doesn't automatically include you in the class list.
